How To Use A Babywearing Cooling Towel

A babywearing cooling towel is a quick, easy and affordable accessory to keep everyone cool and comfortable.

Babywearing in summer can be HOT! But there is a simple and cost effective way to cool your own body, and keep your baby cool at the same time.
🌞 How do you use a cooling towel?
Simply wet, wring out the excess liquid, shake, then wear!

You can wrap it around the back of your neck, tie it around your mum bum / man bun, or wear it as a super-parent cape. 😉

Recharge with fresh cool water 💧 as required.

🌞 How does it work?
Cooling towels work in a similar manner to an evaporative air-conditioner, which relies on air passing through damp material to cool the immediate space around it.

Keeping your body cool helps to keep your baby cool gently. 💚

Positioning it between the two of you, for example on your chest under their face, has limited benefit because it relies on airflow through the wet fabric to cool the air.
🌞 How much is a babywearing cooling towel?
Get your Cloth and Carry Babywearing Cooling Towel for just $14 in your choice of three colours.

❌NOTE:
Please do not place a cooling towel directly onto a baby under 6 months old. Young babies are not able to regulate their own body temperature properly so they cannot adapt to a sudden decrease in temperature caused by a cooling towel, and they must rely on the parent being cool to keep their own body cool.

Once they're over 6 months old, a cooling towel can be placed against baby - great for fevers, teething and general cranky hot toddlers!
🌞 Interesting fact:
Our Babywearing Cooling Towels are also great for keeping everyone cool at summer sporting events, whilst camping, and can even be used during the hormonal hot flushes associated with late pregnancy and menopause!
