The ring sling by Girasol is known as a wrap conversion sling, which means that it is made from a woven wrap, with specially made weight-tested babywearing aluminium rings.

A ring sling with horizontal stripes is perfect for beginners. Soft, 100% cotton, and wonderfully supportive, the ring sling from Girasol has a low surface weight of 215-230g/m².

Girasol's range of ring slings has a gathered shoulder with Cloth and Carry's exclusive 5cm seam and coordinated aluminium rings. All Girasol ring slings are 70cm wide making them perfect for use with newborn babies right through to preschool aged children.

Due to the simple but amazing mechanism of the double rings, the ring sling can be put on quickly and safely with a little bit of practice. The ring sling can be used from birth (also suitable for premature babies, regardless of birth weight) and is often the perfect baby carrier for anyone wanting something light, breathable and easily adaptable. Even exhausted walking babies are happy to be carried in the ring sling.

Thanks to its small size, it fits in practically any handbag or backpack.

SIZE GUIDE
You can order your ring sling in two sizes: 1.70 m and 2.00 m (measured to the shorter side)
The size you need depends on your physique. Ring slings are worn like a sash: you place it over your head and one shoulder. If in doubt, we are happy to help!

Generally, the sizes fit like this:

Size 1 – 1.70 m (short edge)
Suitable for sizes XS to L (up to approximately ladies dress size 18)

Size 2 – 2.00 m (short edge)
Suitable for sizes XL +

How does it work?

Browse our Baby Carrier Rental Collection and find the carrier style you would like to try.

Select your hire period and colour preferences, then add to cart.

Pay for postage (we recommend purchasing the return postage add-on as well) or choose to collect from our Beeliar Home Showroom.

You can book a FREE online carrier fitting or join one of our regular online demonstrations for help.

Use the carrier as much as possible, and ask for help at any time.

Don't forget to make sure it comes back to us by the correct date!

Things you should know:

Your hire baby carrier will arrive clean and ready to use.

Please ensure your child meets the weight and length recommendations for the hire carrier before booking your hire period. If you aren't sure, please get in touch with us.

You must respect the manufacturer's guidelines and use the carrier only as intended. TICKS babywearing safety should also be adhered to at all times. Cloth and Carry, and all associated employees and directors, will not be held responsible for incorrect use of a baby carrier.

If you aren't sure whether you are wearing the carrier correctly, please reach out. You can send us photos and videos for a fit check at any time during your hire period via email, social media and text message.

The minimum hire period is generally 2 or 3 weeks, up to a maximum of 10 weeks. *Newborn and preemie friendly carriers have a negotiable hire period. If you are travelling and require a shorter loan period please get in touch.

Hire carriers that require postage will be sent via Australia Post with tracking included. All returns must be returned in the same manner, and tracking information must be provided if you arrange the return shipping yourself.

Unreturned carriers will be charged at a rate of $5 per day beyond the loan period, and if not returned within 28 days of the end of your Rental Agreement, you will be invoiced for the total (retail) replacement cost of the carrier.

So comfy

I really enjoyed using this ring sling. It felt secure for my 4 month old, whilst also being soft. The material is just the right thickness to easily pass through the rings, and the colours received many compliments. Alyce was super helpful with advice to get the right fit.

I adore using this carrier! Easy to use. It’s getting quite hot at the moment and the beautiful fabric is proving breathable and not heating up too much. It also smells lovely. Bub insists on being held a lot of the time so I’m finding this perfect for when I NEED to get chores done or a quick grocery run (and can’t get the pram in the car by myself.) I have been looking for something easy and beautiful like this for a long time and wished I’d found it when she was littler as my body needed support with breastfeeding - it would’ve been great in the winter time too!

Love this colourway! The ringsling itself is incredibly comfortable and bub sleeps so well in it. Thank you to Alyce for the fit checks! There is definitely a learning curve but once you get it, it's so easy to put on and so useful for quick pick ups to settle an unsettled bubba

So beautiful - Girasol Ring Sling

Best baby carrier so far for me and I have tried a few. Am so happy with it. I washed and ironed it as recommended. It dried quickly in the sunlight. My wriggly, restless baby that is hard to please (high needs / HSP) loves it and is even happy having her hands tucked inside. I got it just right and she loves it. It is held so sturdy with the rings that I just reuse it with how I put it last time when I got it just right.
She just sits in it contentedly and looks so cute like a little gumnut. And she has boob on tap. She just fell asleep while drinking on a walk and it was so easy to transfer her to bed with me by wiggling the sling out from her bum and over our heads.
My other carriers usually wake her up when I get her to bed so this is great for if you sleep with your bubbas.
